Is your business doing all it can for the planet?

In Business Partners, Conservation, News, Partnerships, Rescue, Restoration

The Rainforest Rescue Business Partners in Conservation Program is an incredibly powerful way to demonstrate to your customers, staff, the country – and in fact, the world – how business can work with conservation to protect Australia’s most precious rainforests. This program has grown almost as fast as our newly planted seedlings, clocking up now over 85 business partners in the last five years! As a result, the flora and fauna in the Daintree are benefitting enormously, and each new partner encourages more and more business to do the same, driving consumer demand for products and companies that support our precious, global life-support systems. Your contribution is not a gift on its own – you are part of reshaping the business landscape in Australia and the world!

“Business today has a responsibility towards the environment – we cannot keep endlessly extracting resources without consequence. Air, water, biodiversity, renewable resources are the very building blocks upon which a successful business is built. This is why we seek out opportunities to contribute towards the restoration & protection of areas that have been damaged or polluted due to careless human activity. Partnering with Rainforest Rescue has enabled us to achieve this and affect real change.” – BioPak Sustainability Director & Founder, Richard Fine (as pictured in centre above with the BioPak and Rainforest Rescue team)

BioPak is Rainforest Rescue’s largest partner, supporting our protection and restoration efforts at Platinum level, and has helped lead their industry to create huge and sustainable change. To date, BioPak and their customers have contributed towards the forever protection of over 50,000 square metres of unprotected rainforest and the planting over 20,600 seedlings to regenerate damaged Daintree lowland rainforest.

Of the many partners, Rainforest Rescue has, not all are as large, in fact, most are small and growing. We love to grow with these organisations with whom we share the same vision, protecting Nature, and Protecting Rainforests Forever.

One of the best ways businesses can fully understand just what their impact means to the Earth is to join us in the Daintree for our Annual Community Tree Planting. Come see the land that has been protected forever, the trees that have been planted to regenerate damaged rainforest, and tour some of our successful projects and see our Daintree Native Nursery first hand. Hundreds of businesses and their staff have come up for this fun, meaningful event and we warmly encourage all our supporters to attend what is a truly life-changing day. This year it will be taking place on Saturday 9 May and we would love to see you there (Please Note: Our 2020 Community Tree Planting has been cancelled as a result of COVID-19).
