FOREST FUNDRAISERS

Hold your own Forest Fundraiser and join our mission to Protect Rainforests Forever

It’s easy to fundraise for the rainforest, be it an individual or workplace challenge, or raising funds instead of receiving gifts for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays. Fundraising is also a fun way of sharing your passion for the environment with your friends and colleagues.

Looking for some inspiration? Here are some ideas from previous Forest Fundraisers!

  • Hold a Tree Planting Day at your school, your work, or in conjunction with your local council
  • Ask your friends and family for donations in lieu of wedding gifts and birthday presents
  • School bake sales, read-a-thons, skip-a-thons, and dress-up days
  • Workplace and Community Group Trivia nights, raffles, and auctions
  • Personal challenges such as a 5km hike, giving up smoking or increasing your step count each day
  • One amazing supporter even cycled around the world, while another hiked The Bibbulmun Track, a 1000 km long walking trail that runs from Kalamunda to Albany in Western Australia!

Set Rainforest Rescue as your ‘Favourite Charity’ on PayPal

Do you use PayPal? Did you know that you can “set favourite charity”?

After you “set favorite charity,” the next time you checkout using PayPal, you’ll see your favourite charity listed and have the option to donate $1 to support that charity. Charities do not pay fees for ‘Give at Checkout donations’, which means that every cent collected can support their missions.

For more information on how to set your favourite charity with PayPal, click here.
