Rainforest Rescue’s Tree Planting Team of employees will ensure your tree or trees are successfully established. They will plant and care for the trees. The Rainforest Rescue Tree Planting Team of employees visit the sites once a month to plant new trees, remove weeds, ensure there is enough water and to protect the trees against grazing animals like rabbits and wallabies. Where does my Tree sponsorship money go? Will my trees survive? We “care” for the trees and we have a 98% survival rate. Each tree is our little baby that we nurture to maturity. The sponsorship you provide for your trees ensures that extra special care can be given. The small number of trees that don’t make it are replaced to keep the rainforest growing.What species of trees is Rainforest Rescue planting? Rainforest Rescue will plant over 250 different species of rainforest trees. Yes, in many cases Rainforest Rescue plants the trees where you can come an visit them and experience the growing rainforest. Does Rainforest Rescue receive government funding?
