Partners for Protection: Growing a Greener Future Together

When businesses choose to protect rainforests, they make a promise to care for nature, to act for the planet, and to nurture a better future for all. Through Rainforest Rescue’s Partners for Protection program, that promise is taking root across Australia and beyond, one partnership at a time.
Each new collaboration helps to restore damaged rainforest, protect precious habitat, and strengthen the resilience of the Daintree, one of the oldest rainforests on Earth. Together, we’re growing a community of changemakers who are proving that business can be a force for good.
Movin’ on Up: Partners Stepping into New Tiers
Smitten Merino are now a Silver level Partner.
From Tasmania’s cool climate to the tropical Daintree, Smitten Merino’s journey is woven with care, quality and compassion. This family-owned brand leads the way in ethical and sustainable fashion, donating more than 2% of sales each year to environmental protection, offsetting their carbon footprint through tree planting with Rainforest Rescue, and supporting wildlife care through Bonorong Wildlife Park and the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program. Their move to Silver-level partnership deepens a long-standing love of nature and their ongoing commitment to regenerating rainforest in the Daintree.
Back Country Bliss Adventures are now a Bronze level Partner.
The team at Back Country Bliss Adventures has been creating unforgettable eco-adventures in Tropical North Queensland since 2004, offering visitors a deeper connection to the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman River. Their award-winning River Drift Experience invites guests to float beneath the ancient canopy, navigate gentle rapids, and walk along tranquil riverbeds; a unique way to experience this living landscape. Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do, from partnering with Indigenous-owned businesses to supporting reforestation through Rainforest Rescue. As a Bronze level partner, Back Country Bliss continues to protect and celebrate the natural and cultural treasures of the Daintree.
Welcoming our New Partners
A BIG welcome to our newest Silver level Partner, Barking Frog.
At Barking Frog Wines (part of Edgemill Beverages), sustainability comes naturally. Relying on sunshine, clean water, fresh air and rich soil to craft their wines, the team know just how much we owe to nature’s generosity. That’s why they’ve made caring for the environment an essential part of their business. By joining Rainforest Rescue as a Silver level partner, Barking Frog Wines are giving back to the source of it all, helping protect the rainforests that keep our planet thriving.
We’re also excited to welcome not one, not two, but three new Canopy Club-level partners!

And, we’ve got a new addition to our Business Backers as well.

Foundations for the Future
Nature Impact Collective brings together a group of philanthropic funders united by a shared purpose — to act urgently to protect Australia’s wild places and iconic species. Formed through collaboration between members of the Australian Environmental Grantmakers Network, including the Gum Tree Foundation, Rendere Environmental Trust and Upotipotpon Foundation, the Collective has since grown to include the Pademelon Fund and the Dawn Wade Foundation.
Together, they amplify their impact by pooling resources, knowledge and passion for nature.
As a values-led environmental charity, Nature Impact Collective is helping to accelerate conservation outcomes nationwide. Their partnership with Rainforest Rescue supports the long-term restoration and protection of the Daintree Rainforest, ensuring that one of the world’s most precious ecosystems continues to thrive for generations to come.
Together, we’re protecting rainforests forever.
Every business, every contribution, and every act of generosity adds to a growing canopy of protection — one that stretches far beyond the Daintree.
