Our team & locations
Founded in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales in 1999, Rainforest Rescue has grown and evolved over more than two decades.
Today, the majority of our team is based in Far North Queensland, with our work centred in and around the Daintree (Julay Madja) on Eastern Kuku Yalanji Bubu. This is where our on-the-ground conservation and restoration takes place, and where our Land Management team, Nursery team and Ecological Advisors are based.
Our Daintree-based team is supported by a small remote team working from near and far, supporting strategy, partnerships and operations.
In addition to our staff, we are supported by dedicated board members, advisors, pro bono partners, interns and volunteers.
