Koskela products are manufactured locally, so they decided to look to their own backyard for inspiration on how best to nurture our natural environment. The 
Daintree rainforest is one of the most spectacular and diverse ecosystems on Earth. However, species loss and fragmentation are ongoing threats, as much of the Daintree is still privately owned and in danger of development.
Koskela has formed a partnership with Rainforest Rescue, to support the Daintree Buy Back and Protect Forever Project. Koskela’s support aids in the purchase of freehold property, thereby protecting this land forever from rural, residential and commercial development. They offer monthly support in the hope that this unique habitat can be preserved intact for generations to come.
Koskela have been supporting Rainforest Rescue since and in that time three rainforest properties have been purchased and protected.
