Byron Yoga
Situated in a peaceful location, within earshot of the waves breaking on Belongil beach, the Byron Yoga Room is the oldest yoga school in Byron. The school's founder, John Ogilvie, now teaches six classes a week at the school, and has been joined over the years by a highly skilled and dedicated teaching staff. The teachers at the Byron Yoga Room come from a diverse training background, but share in common their deep understanding of, and dedication to the sharing of yoga. Though most of the classes are Iyengar style based, each of the teachers brings his or her own personal background of experience to their teaching, so that there is something new to be learned in every class, from each teacher. Some of the classes are dynamic and strength/fitness building, whilst others are more recuperative/inward looking.
