What is the Rainforest Rescuer Program?
The Rainforest Rescuer Program is a supporters program where you can make regular monthly donations from your credit card or from your bank or credit union account. Anyone can join from anywhere in the world. You may change or cancel your contribution whenever you decide.
Follow these simple steps and you can become a Rainforest Rescuer...
- Decide how much you would like to donate each month.
There is a minimum monthly amount of $15 per month however there is no upward limit. Many people choose to give $1 a day or $30 a month however its up to you to choose how much you contribute.
- Choose to donate each month from either by credit card or from
your credit union or bank account.
- To allow Rainforest Rescue to establish the process allowing you to make your monthly transactions you need to print, complete and return the Rainforest Rescuer Form Post your completed form to Rainforest Rescue PO Box 1511 Toowong, Brisbane, Australia, 4066 or fax it to 07 3870 8233.
Tax-deductibility and Receipts
Your donation is tax-deductible. Rainforest Rescue will send you a receipt within 45 days of the conclusion of the financial year summarising your entire year's gifts for tax purposes.

Your rights
|
- We will withdraw only the amount that you, the donor have
nominated in accordance with your direct debit request.
- We will send you a receipt within 45 days of the conclusion of
the financial year summarising your entire year's gifts for tax
purposes.
- The commencement date of your direct debit request will be in
the first week of the month following our receipt of your signed
form.
- We will keep private and confidential all information pertaining
to your nominated credit card or account and financial institution.
- We will promptly respond to any enquiries and to concerns you
may have.

- You may ask us to alter the terms of your direct debit request
or cancel your direct debit request at any time by writing to us
stating your name, direct debit details and the details for the
changes.

- It is your obligation to be aware of any potential charges
your bank or financial intuition may apply to direct debit
transactions.
- It is your obligation to ensure there is sufficient funds in
your account each month.
- It is your obligation to advise us if you change the detail
of you bank account or financial institution.
