Community Plant a Tree Event
Daintree Community Tree Planting Event

Everyone's invited to Rainforest Rescue's Plant a Rainforest Community Planting days. We hold them regularly throughout the year, however the main plantings usually occur during the wet season between February and May.

You can help Rainforest Rescue plant trees and create a rainforest. An activity suitable for all ages. Bring the family. Help restore the natural environment.

The trees planted on our Plant a Rainforest Days are sponsored by individual people and businesses from all over Australia and around the world. Read more about the latest sponsored plantings here...>.

Community Rainforest Plantings in Northern NSW

Information on 2011 events will be placed here soon.

An annual Plant a Rainforest Community Planting is often held in conjunction with National Tree Day on 1st of August every year. In 2010, a planting was held along Byron Creek at the Bangalow Oval in Bangalow. Click here for a map.

In conjunction with the Bangalow River Care Group, we planted 1000 trees on the morning, from 9am - 12 noon.
