Bringing Back the Richmond Birdwing Butterfly
If you want to learn about the Richmond Birdwing Butterfly and how to bring it back to our local area, this workshop is for you. The beautiful Richmond Birdwing Butterfly is one of the biggest native butterflies in Australia. Threatened by climate change, habitat destruction and an introduced weed that kills its larvae, the butterfly has almost disappeared from this area.

Rainforest Rescue and the Richmond Birdwing Conservation Network are putting on a workshop to give you tools to help bring back this beautiful butterfly. Includes a free lunch, an information booklet, and a Birdwing Vine to plant on the day. Held at the Byron Community College (corner of Gordon and Burringbar Streets, Mullumbimby) Sunday 13th March, 9am – 4pm. $10 booking fee. Bookings are essential. Call the college on 02 6684 3374.
